MUST WATCH!

If you are an animal lover, specifically a dog lover, you MUST watch the documentary on HBO "One Nation Under Dog". I can't describe how honest and heartwrenching it is. You simply must watch it.

My personal feelings are so deep, it will take more than a post to express them. I just hope something is done, and soon, about this problem.

This documentary made me hug and kiss my babies even more.

paging Dr. Quinn . . .

LOOK at what I ordered! :D

Yes. That's right! It's Dr. Michaela Quinn and company. I just ordered the complete series. :D

Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman was one of my absolute favorite shows back in the 90s. Wholesome, adventuresome, romantic, and SEXY! (Joe Lando, anyone?)

I miss shows like this.

If you've never seen it, give it a chance. It's great entertainment.

Only in Beverly Hills . . .

Those rich bitches are back!

Season 2 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiered last night, and it was just as dramatic as last season.

Elaborate dinner parties with bad food must be the norm in Beverly Hills (I'll never know)  Excess and not knowing what to do with it . . .

Anyhow, last night involved drama and a dinner party . . . and so on.

It's just starting, so it will be interesting to see how everything plays out, especially with Taylor's husband's suicide. The show started out with a sitdown between the cast (minus Taylor) talking about Russell and the suicide.

That new Brandi barbie lady (the one who's husband LeeAnn Rimes stole) hasn't made her appearance yet, but she looks like trouble!

Poor Lisa, I think she's being set up to be the villain this year. The British! Of course. :|

I still do not understand Adrienne and Paul's relationship. It seems like a disaster, but whatever. It's their money. They will stay married if they want to.

Camille is less interesting NOT being a bitch. Hmmm.

The most interesting thing about this episode was probably Jiggy, and Adrienne's new face.

Looking forward to the season! :D

True Blood season 4 premiere - a brief review (spoilers!)

WARNING!! DO NOT READ AHEAD IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!

This season started off with a much slower pace than last year. The oh-so-nice fairies that Sookie was whisked away by turned out to be not so nice, and not so attractive either. This scene was the most out of place in the whole episode, possibly the whole series. It was odd, and that’s saying a lot considering this is TRUE BLOOD!  I could care less about the fairy story line.
Lots of things have changed, because while Sookie was only gone for a matter of minutes in fairy world, it ended up to be an entire YEAR in the real world. Turns out lots of things have changed since her absence, the biggest surprise of all with Bill, being KING of Louisiana now. I already watched episode 2 online, and how that came to be is explained in that episode.  I must say, all of the twists with Bill are a real surprise to me, I don’t know if he’s bad or good now. I don’t read the books, so it’s a thrill to watch. Eric is Eric, and continues to be Eric up until the end of episode 2. Anyone who reads the books knows about Eric’s amnesia, and it looks like it is happening. I don’t read the books; I only read the synopsis of them.
Jessica continues to struggle with her vampirism. I think she was kidding herself trying to play house with Hoyt. She’s starting to show her true vampire side.
Lafayette has joined his boyfriend’s coven, though hesitantly.
Tara is a lesbian now.  Yup.
Arlene hates her baby because she thinks he’s evil, and he certainly seems he might be. (It’s a boy!)
Jason continues to play deputy to Andy’s sheriff. Andy is hooked on V and Jason is entrapped by his ex love, Crystal.
Pam is Pam, and I love her.
Sam hangs out with other shape-shifters in group therapy.
New regulars this year are Nan Flannigan, played by the awesome Jessica Tuck.  Alicide Herveaux, played by the yummylicious Joe Manganiello (but doesn’t show up til episode 3! The nerve!) Luna, played by some actress I forgot her name, and Marnie, the leader of Lafayette’s coven played by Fiona Shaw, Petunia of the Harry Potter franchise.  She’s awesome.
The saga continues. . .
I have to admit, after the season 3 finale, I was starting to lose faith in the series, but I’m re-energized. We’ll see how it keeps my attention this year.
I have no patience.

Woot for Favorites!

So I decided to start off my second official post with listing some of my favorites this year, so far.

I'm really looking forward to seeing some new movies this year, as I don't get much of a chance to movie-go as much, and lately, I'm not really liking any new flicks.

2011 seems like a great year for the action flicks. My favorite genre.

Cowboys vs. Aliens - what can I say? Harrison Ford and aliens and cowboy hats? LOVE!

Captain America - featuring yummy guys and the always AWESOME Neal McDonough. :D Have to see him in the bowler hat as Dum Dum Dugan!

Transformers 3 - YES. I love, LOVE the Transformers. They were one of my favorite cartoons as a kid, and my unearthly crush on Optimus Prime remains.

Other favorites:

So far, nothing has stood out on television for me. All of my favorite shows are on hiatus, so I spend my time occupied with Investigation Discovery channel. Love it.

I love watching vlogs, not sure why, but the youtube vlogs about makeup and clothes keep my interest.

I'm LOVING Twitter. It's fun, and a way to pass your boredom. It's like secret note passing in class. If you want, follow me on Twitter @goflow1

:D

All for now.
