Sorry. Been away for a while. Busy with work and life. And dogs. And cats. Etc. . .
I managed to get out in the world. Watched a couple of movies - the final Harry Potter and Captain America. I will definitely write reviews about them soon. Hint: Go see Captain America.
Still trying to get through the novel I'm reading - Horns by Joe Hill. Good so far.

Phoenix, Arizona Haboob! July 5, 2011
We get these every year and this year was a whopper! I ran inside for cover. Too much dust for my lungs and eyes.
I love how these guys have an awesome view of the haboob. It is quite something to see.

and now, a potty break . . .
My co-worker brought up this subject.
Is it ok to make small talk in the bathroom? And is it rude when you are not acknowledged?
Personally, I'm only in the potty for a few minutes. I'm there to do my business and then I'm outta there! But if I happen to run into someone I know at the mirror, then YES, I do say hi and make small talk. I don't go into a long conversation, but I make sure to catch up on what's going on. If I am in the way of others, I always move aside, or exit the bathroom with my pal. Otherwise, we just disburse.
My co-worker was in a tiff because a lady did not acknowledge her presence. She found it rude. I don't know why it bothered her so much. I suppose its just politeness to say hi, or smile. I find it awkward myself when people pass by you, or are in close proximity, and don't even smile, or keep their head down to avoid you. Especially in an intimate environment. Perhaps this lady just doesn't like making restroom small-talk?
Whatever the case, I just found it amusing.
Bathroom etiquette. Someone should write a book.
:D
